- Signal Events: discrete events that materially change one or more signal observations (rare; high-threshold).
What SIGNAL News avoids
- Narrative coverage, speculation, or rolling updates.
- Attribution of blame, legal/political framing, or calls to action.
- Emotive language or urgency rhetoric.
- Standalone stories not anchored to defined signals.
